Black Tea
Black tea is derived from the leaves of a bush known as
Camellia Sinensis, through the process of oxidation that changes the color of
leaves from green to a dark brown. In China and its other neighboring
countries, it is popularly known as "red tea” while in Western countries
it is popular as "black tea”. It has been a popular beverage for over several
years throughout the world. It is rich in antioxidants called as polyphenols
that helps in protecting cells from DNA damage.
